Individualized Adoption Plans

We believe you should have the benefit of all available options in making your adoption plan. Except for the laws governing the termination and adoption processes, there really is no right or wrong way to make an adoption plan. The most important thing is that the plan you create best fits your needs and those of your child.

Adoption plans can be closed, semi-open, or open, depending on your wishes. Some expectant parents find counseling helpful before their child’s birth. For others, counseling is more beneficial to help with normal feelings of grief and loss their child is born and placed. Everyone is different. Every situation is different. There is no such thing as “one size fits all” in adoption!
